This adorable Valentine’s Day mailbox is perfect for love letters.
Materials
- Cardboard from shoe boxes or cereal boxes
- Scissors
- Glue
- Tape
- Paint
- Colorful paper
- Glitter
Instructions
- Cut a rectangle of cardboard measuring 15 cm high by 30 cm long.
- Cut a square measuring 15 cm by 15 cm. Draw curved lines at the top corners and cut them out to create a mailbox door shape.
- Repeat to create a second door.
- Draw and cut out a small mailbox flag.
- Glue the rectangle along the edges of one door to form the back of the mailbox.
- Trace the base of the mailbox onto cardboard, cut it out, and glue it underneath as the floor.
- Cut a long strip of cardboard and glue it around the second door.
- Attach the door using tape so it opens and closes easily.
- Glue the flag to the side of the mailbox.
- Decorate with paint, hearts, glitter, and Valentine’s Day words in Spanish.
