They pride themselves on providing students with a well-rounded education experience where students feel safe and engage in 21st-century learning. They look to meet the needs of the whole child in a nurturing environment. This school culture has led to the city’s largest Junior Optimist Club which is a student leadership community. The students at Tierra Linda are very active in different activities and they like to create and experience hands-on learning opportunities.

Also, they have different student opportunities such as a K-5 Speech program, Fitness lab @ recess, art docent program, and CODE club.

They have an overall 7/10 rating on the GreatSchools.Org website, and their reviews are like this one: “Tierra Linda is currently ranked 3rd behind Santa Rosa Magnet and La Mariposa in the Pleasant Valley School District, and carries a 2011 896 API rating. There’s a good reason why this school is always ranked in the top 3 every year. The teachers provide important learning skills required to excel at the next level.
