Instructions / Instrucciones

  1. Cut off the strawberries’ stems.
  2. Wash the strawberries only with water.
  3. Pour water in a bowl and add a couple of disinfectant drops, or as many as the disinfectant indicates. Then add the strawberries into the bowl and keep them there for around 10 minutes.
  4. Once again wash the strawberries, just with water.
  5. Cut each strawberry in half. Some people prefer to leave the entire strawberries just like that and to not cut them. You can also do that if you want.
  6. Pour the strawberries into your bowl, wineglass, cup or whichever container you’re going to use.
  7. Add the sour cream. For 1 glass is around 2 to 3 spoons of cream.
  8. Sprinkle some sugar on top. (skip this step if you want to add sweetened condensed milk in step 10)
  9. The classic “fresas con crema” dessert is just this. But many people and places that sell strawberries and cream love to add more things. So, you could leave it like this, but for kids it might be more fun to add the rest of the things we’ll show you below.
  10. Add sweetened condensed milk, as much as you want. If you choose to add sweetened condensed milk, don’t sprinkle any sugar. That means you have to skip step 8. Otherwise, it’ll taste too sweet.
  11. Add any toppings you want; choose your favorite ones. It can be just 1 or 2, or even more if you want to.

Eat and enjoy!
